It's the only cheese factory in Switzerland within the walls of a monastery, where you can watch cheese being produced by hand. Watch how four large vats of milk get transformed into the famous ‚Engelberger Klosterglocke’—a mild cheese pressed into the shape of a monastery bell.
You will get your private demonstration of the cheese makeing process by a cheese sommelier and you create your own cheese.
Our tourguide accompanies you on this tour from the starting point, shows you the changing landscape and answers your questions about the country and its people. The tour guide knows the way and shows you a few places away from the tourist flow.
